On Friday 10th October 2025 Colin Scougall performed a concert at Airdrie Town Hall to celebrate 40 years on stage. Backed by his 8 piece band, conducted by Musical Director Eliot Murray, the evening was filled with laughter, tears and dancing in the aisles. During the course of the evening he sang a duet with his great nephew, fourteen year old Jack (who you might recognise from the cover of Colin’s Christmas album) and with a wig in place he impersonated his idol Dame Shirley Bassey. Colin sang his heart out for two full hours and the sell out audience rewarded him with two encores and a standing ovation. The staff at the town hall ensured that all who attended were kept safe and the technical staff presented world class sound and stage lighting. These amazing pics were captured by Colin’s personal photographer El Amethyst. Were you there that night? Can you spot yourself in the audience pics?
There’s some footage of the concert on YouTube.
